The Mobile BookKeeper Inc. was founded in September 2001, which is a small, successful one-person mobile bookkeeping & tax preparation service that caters to individuals and businesses at their location. Owned and operated by Donna Deschamps, who acquired a diploma in Accounting at NAIT's College of Business Administration in 1997. After graduation, she returned to H & R Block and started to see a need for a mobile tax service for clients with special needs and situations where travel and waiting times at the office are a huge inconvenience. Also, having to bring their children with them can make Tax Time a very unpleasurable event. Having the desire to accommodate these clients, Donna began her journey as a sole propriettor. She attended a self-employment course at Paul Anderson Career Training Institute and learned how to successfully operate your own business.
